Old Tmer Free Flight To R/C
Here's a sweet little 'Old Timer' design that I came up with a couple years ago called the 'Zooper'. This design incorporates many of the design elements of popular free flight models of the 30's to the 50's. The parasol/pylon wing position really works and is easy to build as well as transport. Small field capability is also a plus. The Zooper flies very well. A larger fin/rudder was needed as well as some landing gear stiffening and slight weight distribution adjustments. It likes to climb and act like a sailplane. Descent requires zero throttle and slight down elevator.
